Ray Deal and Lee Martin Fish 10B
In addition to being a great fisherman, Ray was an accomplished and licensed electrician (One of only a few in the Community). Ray was also the founding president of the Fort Walton Kiwanis Club and hosted a welcome for the first preacher at the Methodist Church. During his Kiwanis leadership he oversaw the club’s 1948 opening of the first account at the new Bank of Fort Walton that would become First City and now known as United Fidelity.
